The Landscape Gardening category had a record number of competitors at the 2017 Skills Canada National Competition (SCNC) held in Winnipeg, Man. in May.

Students from both college and secondary school horticulture programs were among the 2,000 competitors testing their skills in the annual Skills Ontario competition.

St. Clair College duo will go on to national competition in Vancouver, June 6 to 8.

Ontario event is the largest in the country with over 1,900 competitors from across the province in more than 60 contests.
